The Hub,

  • Marc Jobson

The Hub have taken the lead at triaging all support requests that have come about as a result of Covid19.  They actively manage:

·         Coordination and vetting of volunteers

·         Distribution of meals to those who are self isolating

·         Shopping for those who are self isolating

·         Prescription pick ups for those that are self isolating

·         Telephone befriending service for those that are self isolating

·         Referral of financial support requests to BSRIN

Budleigh Salterton Relief In Need Charity (BSRIN),

  • Lorraine Ralph

  • BSRIN have taken the lead to represent all local charities.  They have adopted a couple of new Trustees to give a greater representation across the community (including representatives from some of the other groups above).

The Budleigh Support group is not constituted and does not have a mechanism to receive funds and at this time we do not want it to have one.

BSRIN and the Hub are the two parts that are able to directly support people, are constituted and thus have been seeking funding and managing safer working practices for volunteers.
